5-7 May, 2022 a scientific conference “Translational and Clinical Medicine” in Tbilisi will be held that will be organized by the Faculty of Medicine, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.

In 2021, the International Advisory Board was established at the Faculty of Medicine, TSU, which includes the scientists from different countries. The purpose of the Board is to introduce high international standards of research and education at the faculty and to increase the degree of internationalization. It was agreed that TSU will host an international scientific conference every two years with the participation of Board members. The first such international conference “Translational and Clinical Medicine” of TSU will be held on 5-7th May, 2022.
Its purpose is to exchange information on the latest research in the medical field, to initiate international partnership studies at TSU, and to promote the involvement of young researchers and students in these studies. In this event, famous scientists from 11 countries are participating. The conference will include 6 scientific sessions, 3 satellite symposia and a “Lectorium”, which will be broadcast throughout the country by telecompany “Pulse TV”. The 2-year working plan of the International Advisory Board will be approved.
